Doon MRI & Diagnostics have been pioneers in the field of radiology since its inception in 2001. We were the first centre to install an MRI machine in a standalone centre in Uttarakhand in 2001. Over the years, with widened spectrum of diagnostic facilities and constant up gradation, the centre is presently equipped with highly sophisticated equipments such as 1.5T High Definition Volume MRI, a first in the State 128 slice MDCT with Coronary Angiography, 3D/4D Ultrasound Colour Doppler System, a first in the state true Digital Radiography with IITV, Digital Mammography and a Whole Body DEXA.
Dr.(Col.) Harish Bhatia
Dr. (Col.) Harish Bhatia is an alumnus of the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College(AFMC), Pune from where he graduated in 1970 and did his MD Radiology in 1977.
He served the Army Medical Corp(AMC) for 23 years and during that period he spent two years in London for training in MRI and CT scanning at the prestigious Northwick Park Hospital and National Neurology Institute.
Since 1994 he is practicing in Dehradun and has done pioneering work in the field of Radiology. He is credited with setting up the First ever CT scan in Garhwal in 1994, first stand-alone MRI Centre in Uttarakhand in 2001 and the first 128 slice CT Scan with CT Coronary Angiography in Uttarakhand in 2013. He is presently the Director of Doon MRI & Diagnostics, a comprehensive Radiology Centre equipped with the latest high end equipment in all modalities.
Dr. Raghav Bhatia
He did his MBBS and MD(Radiodiagnosis) from Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun. He then worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at HIHT, Dehradun before joining Doon MRI & Diagnostics. He has expertise in all kinds of Ultrasound, CT and MRI with special interest in CT Angiography.
Dr. Nidhi Bhatia
She did her MBBS from Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences, Bellur,Karnataka and subsequently her DNB(Radio-diagnosis) from Max Super speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi. She has expertise in all kinds of Ultrasound, CT and MRI with special interest in Women's Imaging.
